Synopsis: This NT text establishes the fact of Satan's Fall that Jesus witnessed. That raises the question--when did this happen? In this brief survey of the OT, there are some interesting hints of Scripture that may give us an idea of when it took place! The fall of Satan also encourages us that Satan's power is broken and Christ's entrance into this world was for the purpose of destroying the works of the devil (1 John 3:8).
