Last Sunday night we looked at this text searching for the answer to the question, “Why don’t decisions we make for the Lord stick?” or to say it another way, “How do I change to be more like the Lord?” We noted that the Bible reveals three important truths that help us in answering those questions.

Tonight we dive into this matter more deeply and note two things to be on guard against and three things we need to do.

From Hopelessness to Hope

Synopsis: When we encounter those feelings of discouragement and struggle with feelings of hopelessness, what should we do? Jeremiah found himself in a very difficult time of life and struggled with hopelessness. In Lamentations 3, he testifies of his journey from hopelessness to hope. If we can identify with him at the beginning of that journey, then there is hope for us that we can end up with the hope he had.

Here Is Love
