A Look at the Cross

Scripture:

Speaker: Pastor Miguel Betancourt II

Series: Palm Sunday

Synopsis: Passion week climaxes with the crucifixion of Christ. The cross of Christ is not only the central fact of history, but it is also the central theme of Scripture. That being the case, we should not be surprised that Hebrews 12:1 admonishes us to "look unto Jesus...who endured the cross." It is good for saved sinners to look at the Cross in order that our love, appreciation and gratitude might be rekindled. It is good for unsaved sinners to look at the cross so the sight of the sacrificial Lamb of God might rescue their souls from sin's penalty. As we look tonight at Luke 23, there are four things we need to see as we "Look at the Cross."
