There are certain places that we attach a specific significance to because of important events that transpired in our lives--whether it was our high school graduation, where we were married, where our first home was, etc. Such as true with the nation of Israel. There are two significant, most memorable events that transpired at the encampment at Gilgal that find direct parallel to our lives and so are most instructive for us today.
