In the context of giving, Paul states that God's grace is the cause of all goodness in Christians and God's grace overflows to make us generous and sacrificial in our giving while still having enough (sufficiency) for our ourselves. Though found in the context of financial giving to fellow believers, there is nonetheless a wider and more general application that is also very true and encouraging when we face hardships, times of strain and pressure.
