This door of ministry opportunity at Ephesus is described as having two characteristics: 1) It was great--a large, wide open door, 2) It was full of energy -- it was productive, active and would yield expected results. He saw opportunities that included opposition rather than opposition that precluded opportunity! We need to see what Paul did and see as he did!
This message is for us to see 2018 as "A Door of Opportunity" to advance the cause of Christ--both individually and corporately as a church.
Synopsis: This text provides us with the ministry theme for 2017 - "Now Is The Time!" This message is part 1 of 2 in which our pastor challenges the congregation regarding our three-fold responsibility in view of God's grace and the time He gives us here on earth to discharge those responsibilities.
Synopsis: The ministry theme for 2018 is extracted from 1 Corinthians 16:9. In this first of two messages, we find this text challenging us to walk by faith through the door of opportunity God gives us in 2018 to rely upon His grace as we advance the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Synopsis: This year's annual ministry theme is taken from our text of Scripture--"Shine As Light!" What does that involve and what does it mean? Find out from the insights found in Philippians 2:13-16.
Synopsis: In this text from Isaiah 40:9, our pastor introduces the new ministry theme for 2020. Its simple, short, but substantive statement is life-changing when embraced. Out of all the messages he has preached, this statement is the one message our pastor would want every born-again believer to always remember--especially during this new year! In 2020, we need a 20/20 vision of our God as He has revealed Himself in His Word!
In part one of this message, we look at an overview of the text and then the message of the text.
Synopsis: Tonight our pastor shared a PowerPoint presentation that incorporates the new ministry theme for 2020 as it relates to church ministry this year. The new theme was introduced in this morning's message and expanded upon tonight. We take a brief look at the past year, where we are now, where we go from here.
Synopsis: As you read this chapter, you find a series of thought-provoking questions that are arranged in five groups, each one introducing new thoughts about God's character. They are designed to redirect our thoughts upward to God! To behold Him! And they are designed to arouse the conscience to form the same conclusions in our minds that God wants us to have.
So what are these characteristics of God we are to behold that, when we do, we receive comfort, hope and encouragement that God will honor His Word and fulfill His promises to you?
