Synopsis: Ever hear someone say, "The Devil made me do it!" or "I couldn't help it!" or "It was so-and-so's fault that I responded wrongly..." etc.? We come up with all kinds of justifications for our wrong attitudes and actions, but if we are to deal successfully with temptation, we must know the truth about it. That truth is found in our text today and so is the much needed help in dealing successfully with it.
